Founded in 1979, SEARAC is a national civil rights organization that seeks to advocate for the Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese American community as well as people of color and immigrants. As a community-based organization, SEARAC uplifts Southeast Asian American voices to drive policy change and builds strong Southeast Asian leaders.

The Ask
Create a buzz-worthy, inspirational promotional video to promote SEARAC's 2018 Leadership and Advocacy Training (LAT)
The Process
I worked with staff members to produce a video to promote SEARAC's Leadership and Advocacy Training (LAT) program, a three-day training in Washington D.C. to build advocacy skills for emerging advocates. The video was meant to inspire and encourage interested individuals to become part of the change. Ensuring that people felt part of an ongoing journey and a close community enabled SEARAC to tap into their target audience and keep it on brand with the messaging.
